Zero rate VAT applies to OECD iLibrary.

Site licence.

Commitment Period

This Agreement is of 3 years duration. Institutions may join the Agreement at any time during the Agreement period. They will then be committed to the end of the Agreement Period unless they give appropriate notice to cancel.

Notice to cancel must be received by 1 October 2022 or 1 October 2023.

Eligible Institutions

Universities, colleges and other learning, educational and research bodies in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Other organisations aligned with Jisc’s charitable objectives of supporting education, research bodies and the public sector may ask to participate in the Agreement. Chest will liaise with the Supplier about any such requests.

This is the third renewal of the successful agreement which commenced in February 2010.

Here are details about how the different packages work:

• OECD Books, Papers and Statistics offers Unlimited access to all content on OECD iLibrary with tools and functionality to access and work with OECD’s information, statistical data and analysis in a convenient and time-saving way. IEA Statistics is not included in this package
• OECD Books and Papers covers all books, journals, statistical annuals and periodicals available online
• OECD Statistics provides online access to all OECD’s statistical databases, in all available formats. It includes the dynamic interactive databases, as well as the statistical annuals and periodicals in PDF format, and their related tables in XLS, PDF and HTML. IEA Statistics is not included in this package
• IEA Statistics* The statistical databases of the International Energy Agency (IEA) are available separately due to the highly-focused nature of the content. This package includes online access to all statistical databases from the IEA available on OECD iLibrary

• PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment)
• International Transport Forum (ITF)

Since 1998 - over 1,200 journal issues, 3,300 working papers, 2,900 multi-lingual summaries, 7,700 e-book titles, 16,000 tables and graphs, 25,000 chapters and articles, and 480 complete databases with more than 4.5 billion data points. These online services include access to:

• OECD textual publications in PDF or HTML formats
• OECD statistical databases in which data can be selected and downloaded in HTML, XLS or CSV formats

OECD iLibrary includes:

• 17 Thematics (including e-books, periodicals and databases) - 16,500+ e-books are available
• 2 journals
• 45 Working Papers and Policy Papers series
• 39 OECD statistical database
• 9 IEA Statistical database
• 56 Statistical Indicators
• Podcasts

*International Energy Agency (IEA) data and UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) data is available free of charge under an End User Licence to universities, colleges and other learning, educational and research bodies in the UK, and the libraries of the Houses of Commons and Lords via https://stats2.digitalresources.jisc.ac.uk/. Users can also access a range of open international macrodata, including data from the OECD, World Bank, UN, Human Rights Atlas and IMF from 1945 to the present including:

• International migration statistics
• Main economic indicators
• Science and technology indicators
• Tax statistics
• World development indicators
