Humap is an interactive mapping platform that connects data, stories, and place. Subscribers in the GLAM & HE Sectors use it to create immersive learning resources, reimagine their archives and collections, generate and present data, and more. No coding or knowledge of GIS is required.

Jisc have been talking to Humap about a potential subscription Agreement and this expression of interest webinar is part of that process. We welcome feedback from the Higher Education and GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) communities if this is something which would be relevant to you. A similar webinar will be run for Further Education later on in the year, when colleges re-open.

As well as an introduction to Humap, the webinar will cover real examples of how Humap is being used to:

  • Visualise huge amounts of complex data
  • Reimagine collections and databases as interactive digital exhibitions
  • Create learning resources for students and communities
  • Crowdsource knowledge at scale
  • Share collections and data with the world

Please feel free to register, even if you can't make it on the day, as the webinar will be recorded and distributed to attendees afterwards.
