Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping our approaches to education. At the University of Chester, we explore AI intentionally through a lens of cautious, transparent and responsible use of the tools available to us. In this session, hosted by TeacherMatic, we will explore how we use this suite of tools within our 10 Guiding Principles for AI Use. The speakers will reflect on the governance approach at our institution and the requirement to keep the human in the loop for ethical use of AI within quality teaching, learning and assessment approaches. This event will focus on practical stories of how colleagues use AI to support and enhance teaching and learning and will also unpack how we understand ethical and sustainability challenges brought about by the rise of AI. Attendees can expect to hear colleague stories and get practical ideas for ethical adoption of AI tools in the HE sector and greener ways of working with AI. The session is delivered in collaboration with Jisc and will cover how Jisc has worked and continues to work with TeacherMatic through its FE, HE and Assessment pilots, as well as purchasing via Chest. By signing up, you agree to receive related marketing communications and updates on similar events and resources. Note: The webinar will be recorded and the recording will be shared via email the week after the event.
