Updates from CAS

We are pleased to share that a new offer has been signed between Jisc and CAS with revised pricing for CAS BioFinder. CAS BioFinder brings together AI-enabled tools and expansive curated data for drug discovery, and is available as an optional add-on in the CAS Agreement. If you are interested in accessing a free 60-day trial, please reach out to Rosie Gibson at rgibson@acs-i.org. All current subscribers to the CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform have been notified, with the option to sign up to CAS BioFinder from 1 October 2026. Institutions who are interested in taking advantage of this offer should let both Jisc and CAS know by the end of August.

CAS Newton, the science-focused agentic AI, is now available within CAS SciFinder and CAS BioFinder for institutions with active subscriptions to these solutions. As with many agentic AI tools, CAS Newton is currently offered with a daily search limit, which can be expanded upon request.
